• St Andrews Voices -Singing for Breathing

“I treasure these weekly classes & always feel better & more relaxed after them. She’s taught me strategies to deal with lack of energy & breathlessness (as a result of repeated chest infections & Long Covid related symptoms). When I’m struggling to decide whether to do something or not I hear (Rachel’s) voice in my ear saying wisely, ‘listen to your body’! I’m eternally grateful to Rachel.”

With a passion for music and singing as forms of therapy, I have established an eclectic career in Singing For Health alongside my performing work as a professional Opera Singer. I now combine my love of singing, breathing and moving to help those with life-limiting conditions such as COPD and other chronic lung conditions, Dementia, Mental Health issues, Parkinson’s and most recently Long Covid. Increasingly convinced of the breath, body and voice connection, I am passionate about helping those with chronic conditions to reconnect with themselves and with society - to find their true voice!
